Our first major assignment of the semester is to observe, explore, and investigate a social network.
I am an avid StarCraft 2 player. StarCraft 2 is a game developed by Blizzard Entertainment, the company that also maintains World of WarCraft. It is a real-time strategy game in which the player builds a base and military force with the objective of destroying the opponent. SC2 is widely accepted as the best real-time strategy game to date. The players are competitive, and although most of us play for fun, the game sometimes evolves into something more serious; it becomes more like an NFL playoff game than a video game.
For the project, I have signed up to be a member of Team Liquid, which is a well-known group of professional gamers. Team Liquid's network offers a wide array of forums, links, and video feeds used to discuss/observe strategies and learn from other members.

WRH205
WRH205 is a class I take at West Chester University that is devoted to the exploration of cyberspace. This blog will be used to conduct said exploration. Over the course of the 2011 Spring Semester I will be posting links, compositions, etc. related to social networking, online resources, and other topics akin to the internet.
